Terms of Use
These short Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the SkinsCaddy website, Android app, and web/PWA operated by Justin Villalta / SkinsCaddy ("we," "us"). By using SkinsCaddy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
SkinsCaddy is a free golf companion / scoring / practice app. Tokens, tips, and in-app skins scoring are virtual only — no cash value, not redeemable for money, and not real-money gambling. The app does not process payments for bets, operate a sportsbook, or facilitate cash wagers between players.
1. What SkinsCaddy is
SkinsCaddy is a golf companion / scoring / practice app for recreational skins scoring, tee toss, short-game tracking, and optional in-app virtual tokens. It is entertainment / sports utility — not a sportsbook, casino, or real-money gambling product.
Tokens, tips, and in-app skins scoring are virtual only. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and are not real-money gambling. The app does not process payments for bets, does not operate a sportsbook, and does not facilitate cash wagers between players.
2. Disclaimers
- SkinsCaddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the PGA, LPGA, USGA, R&A, Golf Canada, or any tour, course, or club unless a specific written partnership is named.
- Scores, handicaps, heatmaps, and practice tools are for recreation and personal tracking only. They are not official handicaps or tournament scoring.
- You are responsible for following the rules of your course, club, and local law. Do not use the app to run illegal gambling.
- Any dedication to Lou Villalta on the splash or site is a personal tribute only. It does not imply a registered memorial foundation.
3. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use SkinsCaddy. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Free app; optional ads
SkinsCaddy is free to use. There is no real-money betting, no cash tokens, and no cash redemption. Future revenue may come from clearly marked third-party ads (for example Google AdMob or similar). Ads will not be mixed with skins scoring or token results so they look like a prize or payout.
5. Use at your own risk
Use at your own risk. We provide no warranty that scores, maps, tokens, or the Services are accurate or uninterrupted. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."
6. Accounts and suspension
Some features may need an account. Keep your login secure. We can suspend accounts for abuse, cheating the token system, or illegal use. To delete your account, use the Delete account page or email skinzcaddy@gmail.com.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections where you live require otherwise.
