This Cookie Policy explains how SkinsCaddy, owned and operated by Justin Villalta, uses cookies and similar technologies on the SkinsCaddy website and, where applicable, related services (the “Services”). Read this together with our Privacy Policy.
SkinsCaddy is a free golf companion / scoring / practice app. Tokens, tips, and in-app skins scoring are virtual only — no cash value, not redeemable for money, and not real-money gambling. The app does not process payments for bets, operate a sportsbook, or facilitate cash wagers between players.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and certain mobile SDKs. For simplicity, we call all of these “cookies” in this policy.
2. What this website actually uses today
The SkinsCaddy marketing website is a static public site. It does not currently show a cookie consent banner. We do not currently set advertising cookies, and the waitlist is handled by email (you send a message to us) rather than a cookie-based signup form.
- Essential / functional — the site may use basic session or local storage needed to load pages. We do not require an account to browse the website.
- Analytics / performance — we may add first-party or service-provider analytics later to understand how people use the site. If we do, this page will be updated.
- Waitlist email — if you email skinzcaddy@gmail.com to join the waitlist, that email is collected as described in the Privacy Policy. That is not a cookie.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.
3. Types of cookies we may use
- Session cookies — temporary; often deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain for a set period or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies — set by SkinsCaddy.
- Third-party cookies — set by service providers (for example, analytics tools) if enabled.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in settings. Blocking essential cookies may limit website functionality. On mobile devices, you may also control certain app analytics through device settings.
If we later use non-essential cookies in a way that requires consent, we will request it. You can withdraw consent by adjusting browser settings or contacting us.
5. Age notice (18+)
SkinsCaddy is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Advertising cookies (may use)
SkinsCaddy is free. If third-party ads (for example Google AdMob or similar) are added later, ad or analytics cookies/SDKs may collect device identifiers and related data to serve ads and measure installs. Ads will be clearly marked. Personal data is not sold as a standalone list. This Cookie Policy will be updated the same day any ads SDK ships.
